animation

These are the Animations I made for my diploma.

Animation brings a breath of life to creations in 2D and 3D planes. You may not realise it, but there are a lot of animations that we see in media!

Being able to animate is an invaluable skill to have.

AUDI R8 SPYDER - LAUNCH TRAILER

Motion-track (Post-Production)

Year 2, 2017

Creating Lens Flare by using Track Motion on

Adobe After Effects

This effect is achieved by keyframing the position of the lens flare in each frame.

The recent update of Adobe After Effects does have an Auto-Track Motion feature. However, the rendering and processing were both time-consuming and inaccurate. Thus, I did the traditional method of Motion-track.

BASS THUMP (Post-Production)

Year 2, 2017

Creating Bass Thump, in-sync with footage audio in After Effects

This effect is achieved by synchronizing the bass of the sound and song to the visual thumps.

Firstly, an adjustment layer was created and renamed as Bass Thump. Next, the effect Audio Amplitude was added. This is followed by importing the sound clips and song to synchronize with the Bass Thump adjustment layer.

ANTI-SMOKING ADVERTISMENT

TURBULENCE EFFECT

turbulence_fire.gif

Year 2, 2017

This effect is achieved by creating Fire physics by using Turbulence Plugin on Cinema4D.

First, a Turbulence Container is created, with the model within the barriers of the 3D container. Then, the value of the Intensity and Fall-off was both tweaked to get the fire simulation effect. Lastly, the Fire texture preset was applied to the Turbulence and finally rendered the scene

Year 2, 2017

This effect is achieved by creating Smoke physics by using Turbulence Plugin on Cinema4D.

Similar to the Turbulence Fire Effect, the Turbulence container was placed on the tip of the cigarette butt. The polygons of the burning tip were selected before placing the Turbulence container. The Intensity and Fall-off were also tweaked. The smoke texture preset was then added and the whole scene was queued for rendering.
